A digital height adjustment scale ensures exact worktable positioning every time, removing guesswork and improving repeatability. The large, ergonomically designed adjustment handle makes fine height changes quick, smooth, and accurate, even when working with demanding materials.

The AP640DS Drum Sander is built on a solid, heavy duty cabinet stand, providing excellent stability and long-term durability in professional environments. Dynamically balanced sanding rollers minimise vibration, resulting in smoother operation, reduced machine wear, and a superior surface finish.

The variable conveyor speed (0–4.6 m/min) allows full control over material feed rate, ensuring optimal sanding performance for both aggressive stock removal and fine finishing. Two 100mm dust extraction outlets efficiently remove dust and debris, keeping the workspace cleaner and improving air quality.

N.B. Drum sanders are used as part of the finishing process, they are not intended to be used as a planer/thicknesser or for significant stock removal. A drum sander does not replace a planer/thicknesser and vice versa. Drum sanders are intended to be used with already planed and thicknessed material. Overall a planer/thicknesser is meant to dimension timber, the drum sander to finish it.
