The AW3310S Spiral Planer Thicknesser is engineered for smooth, accurate, and consistent results. Its spiral cutting block uses 30 knives arranged in two rows, offering a far longer service life than traditional HSS blades. With this design, planing ripple is virtually eliminated. When an edge eventually dulls, simply rotate the cutter 90° with the supplied Torx driver - tighten, and you’re back to work. There’s no resetting, no downtime, and no waiting for sharpened blades to return. Spiral blocks also run quieter and with significantly reduced vibration.

The alloy fence provides reliable support for precise work, and adjusts easily with stops at 90° and 45°. Switching between jointing and thicknessing is quick and intuitive thanks to the single-lift tables, which raise together in one smooth motion. A 5.4 m/min feed speed ensures a consistently clean, smooth finish.

Adjustments are straightforward: the digital height gauge makes adjustments simple, while a viewing window in the feed table allows easy monitoring during operation.

Powered by a robust 3 kW motor, the AW3310S Spiral Planer Thicknesser handles a wide range of tasks with its 310 mm planing width and 230 mm thicknessing capacity. The maximum depth of cut when planing is 3 mm, whilst the maximum depth of cut for thicknessing is 4 mm.
